The following was written by Louie's mom Jennifer Logan:
Physically, Louie stands right in the middle of the Swissy breed standard, at 27. He is a solid, balanced, sound and athletic dog. Look in Louies eyes and youll see a calm and gentle, yet alert and funny spirit. He goes anywhere and fits into any environment. He has a knack for lying back and letting kids of all ages crawl all over him a responsibility not many dogs can be trusted with. Louie recently passed his therapy dog test with flying colors.
He's a quiet boy. But like any typical Swissy, Louie will give a couple of giant barks at anyone coming to the door. Its not aggression; its part of how he and most Swissies figure out a situation. After a few seconds checking out the scene, Louie retires to a spot where he can relax and enjoy attention.
Louie owes his solid health, exceptional temperament and good looks to thoughtful breeding aimed at producing those traits. He is known as a wonderful boy and a terrific Swissy because he has learned, through consistent guidance, how to be a great citizen and friend to both people and dogs.
