The "Legacy Litter"
Why Legacy: These Swissie Puppies are born to Wildest Dream Masala Moonlight (Alli) a Working Swissie who is a Service Dog for her owner in Ohio. The puppies father, Ch. Cordillera's Journeyman Kai (Louie), is a Champion "of solid health and excellent temperament" and is also a therapy dog. These puppies maternal grandmother, GCh. Ch. Wildest Dream Intangible ROM (Tangee), was one of the first 20 Swissies to become a Grand Champion. Tangee has also received a Award Of Merit at the National Specialty show, Top Brood Bitch Honors at the National Specialty and was a Generations Winner at the National Specialty. Tangee also received her ROM this year. The puppies paternal grandfather, BISS Ch. Cordillera's Future Legend (Kai), is a Best in Show Specialty winner and the Puppies maternal great grandfather, NBISS Ch. Rippling Waters Justus, was the 2008 National Champion, as well as a Award of Merit Winner at two other National Championships. Justus won Top Stud Dog honors as well was the Patriarch of the Generation Win at the National Championship. Justus was also a Therapy Dog as well as a Service Dog. Alli's half sister, Gh. Ch. Wildest Dream Midnight in Havana is currently the NUMBER #1 female Swissie in the NATION after winning the top honors given to a female at the Westminster and Eukanuba dog shows.
What a Legacy!
On 7-12-13 our Big Boy Justus passed away. The world is a less peaceful, kind and gentle place without him in it. God Speed My Big Boy.

9-25-12 Happy Birthday Tina
9-21-12 This month both Truly and Kraken were bred. This is a very busy time of the year for Wildest Dream Farm!
9-20-12 The GSMDCA 2012 Nationals was very exciting for Wildest Dream Swissies. Our puppies Eros and Tangelo won their classes. Eros even received Reserve Dog. Eros won Best Puppy in Futurity and Tangelo won Best of Opposite in Futurity. King made the top 7 cut for Best of Breed. A fantastic Nationals.
Open House This Sunday June 24th. Noon to 2pm. (outside). Email if you are interetsed myth22@msn.com. Come visit with the Swissies and get some questions answered.
Here's the thing: On 2-20-12 Tangee delivered 11 healthy puppies and passed away, of a blood clot, an hour later after nursing them. We will need some time. If you are a puppy person or a potential puppy person please just take it easy. We will be back in private or on the website in about 5 days. At some point we will give tribute to our beloved Tangee but at this time please just accept our apologies for adding to your own puppy anxiety and know the puppies are in good hands. Tangee's half sister Beacon has adopted them and is loving them with all of her heart as we all did Tangee.
Millie and her BFF Dora

The Weekend Results At The Chesapeake & Potomac Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club Specialty: Wildest Dream M. Genuine Draft (Millie) became a Champion, winning a 5 pt. Major on 10-1-11 and winning another 5 pt. Major, 10-2-11 . Millie won in style out of the very difficult Bred By Class. So let me introduce to you:
Ch. Wildest Dream M. Genuine Draft HCT.
Not to be out done, Millie's mom (Grand Champion) GCh. Wildest Dream Intangible HCT (Tangee) won Select Bitch on both days as well. In addition both Tangee and Millie picked up their herding instincts titles (HCT) on Friday. For the second leg of their herding instincts Tina had to be the shepherd. So I guess she picked up the first leg of her Shepherd Title :). Nice job Tina ;-). What an amazing weekend for all. Having fun competing in confirmation and other events is just another way you can have fun with your Swissie. Winning, in addition to being fun also shows that a judge not only thinks your dog is what a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is suppose to be like (all dogs compete against the standard or ideal Swissie, the closest to the standard is suppose to win). it also lets you know that the judge believes your dog is well put together. A well put together dog is likely to be healthier and live longer than a poorly put together dog. Competing in Herding is also fun but it too helps to demonstrate that your dogs are able to still do the work they were originally bred to do. So even though shows are just flat out fun, they also have meaning to those of you who are looking for that loving companion, to go on walks, hikes, or just sit on the couch with you and eat popcorn while watching movies.
2011: Wildest Dream Farm receives the Breeder of Merit Award from The American Kennel Club (AKC). Justus becomes the first Greater Swiss Mountain Dog to receive the American Kennel Club (AKC) new Therapy Dog Title (THD). (Not bragging just excited, ok bragging a little)
7-24-11 Announcing a Breeding! Here we go!!!!!! NBISS Ch. Rippling Waters Justus CGC (Justus) X Ch. Wildest Dream Come To Me (Beacon). We will know if she is pregnant this next Monday, 7-24-11 . Stay tuned.
Luke, a Justus son, getting a group 2
3-30-11: Fell behind in the news. Too much going on at the farm. Tangee has become a Grand Champion one of the first 25 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs to achieve this goal. Kraken has won a major. King is winning out in CA. Tangee has had a second litter of puppies which have gone to their homes. It's been crazy fun.
10-16-10 Introducing: Ch. Wildest Dream Ripley Can You Believe It. On 10-16-10 Ripley beat over 50 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs taking Winners Dog and becoming a Champion. Ripley is Bob and Sera's first show dog. Great job Bob and Sera. On 10-02-10 Beacon beat 30 dogs at the C&P GSMD Specialty Cluster "Supported Entry" in Virginia to take "Best of Winners" (a 5 pt. Major) to become; Ch. Wildest Dream Come To Me
Wildest Dream The True Kraken (Kraken DOB 3-26-10) won her first point today (10-10-10) at the Fulton County Ohio Kennel Club. Go Kraken, just one of the Enchanted 15.
10-3-10 What a weekend for Wildest Dream. The C&P Specialty and Supported Entry in Virginia was host to over 57 GSMD all coming to compete in the confirmation ring. The Supported Entry began on Friday with the Specialty taking place on Sunday. On Friday Ch. Wildest Dream Intangible (Tangee) won an Award of Merit, Select Bitch which moves her 5 points closer to becoming a Grand Champion. On Saturday Wildest Dream Come to Me (Beacon) won Best of Winners a 5 point Major, making her a Champion. On Sunday at the Specialty, Wildest Dream Ripley Believe It (Ripley) won Winners Dog, a 5 point major. Go Wildest Dream and great job Tina and Bob showing your dogs! I almost forgot, Tangee got her first leg towards her herding title. Pictures of her chasing around three sheep to be posted soon.
8-25-10; We still do not ship our puppies as we believe it puts way to much stress on them. We were made aware of a story that confirms our non-shipping practice. Puppies Found Dead on American Airline's Plane: The story states that last month 7 out of 14 puppies died on American Airlines flying from Tulsa to Chicago as the flight was delayed (I am not sure what breed the puppies were or how old they were as the article didn't say).
Swissie puppies, at 9 weeks, can fly in the cabin of an airplane with their new parent and this happens most every litter. The last litter we had one fly with his new mom to CA and one fly with her new dad to Denmark. We also work with Pet AirWays.
8-15-10; Simon is still at our house waiting for that perfect home. We also have "Sparkle" a 17 week old girl who is beautiful. For more information on them click here. The 2010 National Pictures are now on the website to see them click here. The Fall /Winter Litter is being planned. Working out the details for the Stud Dog. If you are interested in a puppy click here.
6-15-10 All the puppies have left except Wildest Dream Release the True Kracken and Bella (who will be leaving on Saturday). It was a great experience raising 15 puppies and as always we have the most amazing homes. We also have Simon a 4 year old GSMD boy at the house. His owner has asked us to try and find him a forever home. So if you know someone who is an experienced dog owner who is looking for a very loving Swissie boy with a couple of bad habits please send them our way. Lastly Tina, Justus, Tangee and Millie with some help from some friends did some major winning at the 2010 Greater Swiss Mountain Dog National.
4-17-10, Wildest Dream Just Beginning (Rookie) at 23 months of age has become a Champion. Congratulations to Justin and Amy Korreck and to CH. Wildest Dream Just Beginning. Rookie was owner handled by Amy for all 15 of his points. What a great accomplishment and what a beautiful boy.
4-8-10 Puppies are turning 2 weeks old, starting to walk and their eyes are beginning to open.
4-3-10 See Tribute to Gypsy
3-26-10 Truly Gives birth to the Enchanted Litter, by C-Section, 15 beautiful puppies and mom are doing great.
3-20-10 Wildest Dream Dogs did very well in KY today. Wildest Dream Just Beginning (Rookie) won a 5 point major and Wildest Dream Intangible (Tangee) got back in the show ring after having babies 5 months ago and won Best of Opposite. Both dogs were owner handled; Tina was on Tangee and Amy was on Rookie. Nice job.
3-18-10 Truly had an X-Ray. There are a lot of puppies in this big girl. Looks like another c-section.
2-19-10 Pregnany was confirmed. Puppies should be born between Palm Sunday and Easter.
2-1-10 Last week Truly was bred to a Utah boy; Ch. Cordillera's Journeyman Kai (Louie). That same week Truly won another point towards her Championship and Louie completed his Therapy Dog work. What a big week!!!
1-7-10 All the Drinks Litter Puppies have left, except Mille, who is staying with us. Wildest Dream M. Genuine Draft. We hope to have a Spring 2010 litter, stay tuned.
12-23-09 On 12-22-09 at nearly 14 years of age, Max our German Shepherd and hero was laid to rest. God Speed Max. Visit tribute to Max.
11-19-09: All of the "Drinks" have their eyes open now and are moving about in a half crawl half walk motion. Soon ears will open. We have already heard two barks (much different then the usual moans and whimpers). The litter is very consist as far as markings. They all have "Tangee Toes", very little to no white on the tail, each look like they will have a blaze. All are tri-colored, healthy and about the same weight and size. No big one and no small one. With Swissies markings are secondary and a crap shoot. We have seen Swissies with a total white face, total black face, one blue eye, two blue eyes,we have seen Red Swissies (no black on their entire body), and the picture to the right ( friends of ours) just had what is called a Blue Swissie, how beautiful.
11-15-09 Pink girls eyes have started to open. Lime girl has started to walk. Soon all will be following suit. Let the Chaos begin!!!
11-4-09 Step aside James Brown and make room for the "Hardest Working Woman in the Swissie World". Tina was up 45 hours straight delivering 7 beautiful puppies. Wow. We are no longer taking deposits for this litter, sorry.
11-1-09 No puppies yet! Stay tuned.
10-22-09 Three of Justus' children have just become Champions; Luke, Sonny and Proda. Congratulations to each of them and their families.
10-20-09 Last week we had a fantastic family from Denmark here to visit us, our dogs, mainly Justus.
9-9-09 For all of you Tess fans (Lime Girl), she has left our house to go to her forever family in the Chicago area. Stay tuned for pictures.
9-2-09 Ch. Wildest Dream Intangible (Tangee) was bred to Ch. Painted Trout Crimes of the Heart (Felon), a Washington State boy. We are very excited about our puppies to be born around Halloween time. Stay tuned.
8-10-09 News this week. Allie has left our home and is being loved by her new family. Tess is now the last little puppy girl at the house. Beacon our 1 year old is keeping her busy, playing, playing, playing. On a more technical note we completed OFAs on Justus' shoulders; came back normal, with no signs of arthritis. Pretty good for a 5 1/2 year old boy. May he live forever.
7-20-09 Tangee a Justus X Gypsy girl, got a perfect score on her OFA's: Normal amd Hips Excellent. Luke; from the Justus X Gabby litter out of Cornerstone Kennels, now in Colorado got his OFA's as well: Shouldes, elbows, and petella, all Normal. Hips; Good. Two well put together Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs.
7-17-09, Looking at a Fall Litter. If you are interested in a Wildest Dream Swissie puppy this year, now is the time to submit your application. We will also be looking at a litter for 2010. Keep in mind Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Puppies are very slow to mature and need to be socialized. In order to help socialize them safely (as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks) we keep our puppies here at Wildest Dream Farm generally until they are 10 weeks old. At times they leave earlier and sometimes a little later. In our opinion, you should never get a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Puppy from any breeder prior to 8 weeks of age.
5-3-09 We brought home 7 healthy puppies from Cleveland; 4 boys and 3 girls. Gypsy lived up to her name, she does nothing by the book and will have her puppies in her own time.
5-2-09 The Derby was run without any Wildest Dream puppies being born. This is good, as it takes the pressure off us to have a Derby theme for the litter. Even though Grandpa is Secretariat. Dr. Hutch's office in Cleveland told us today, to look at May 4th. for puppies. Keep you fingers crossed.
4-25-09 Still looking at Derby Day, May 2nd, for puppies. In the mean time Beacon snatched up another two points towards her Championship.
4-5-09 Team Wildest Dream was on fire this weekend. Wildest Dream Come To Me (Beacon) with owner/handler Tina Bailey won her first two points at 10 months taking Best of Breed. Wildest Dream Just Beginning (Rookie) with owner/handler Amy Korreck won his first two points at 10 months by taking Best of Opposite. Wildest Dream Kall Me Bailey (Bailey) with owner/handler Kelly Kahmann earned his CGC this weekend at 10 months.
3-30-2009 For those of you who have been waiting for the news; Gypsy is pregnant. It was confirmed by ultra-sound. Let the fun begin.
2-16-08; For those of you who have been reading the news for updates on a possible Spring litter here it is. Gypsy has come into heat and the courtship has begun between her and Justus.
2-15-09 Let me introduce to you Ch. Wildest Dream Intangible. Tangee with Tina showing her, won down in Indiana today which gave Tangee the last two points she needed in order to become a Champion.
2-1-09 Just a quick note for those of you who read the news. Tangee started her heat cycle today. Although we are not planning on breeding her at this time (too young etc. etc.). It is possible that she may cause Gypsy to go into heat sooner than planned. So stay in touch.
1-31-09 We are now in the process of planning our Spring 2009 litter. Our planned female and male are Gypsy and Justus. This is a planned repeat breeding of the Justus X Gypsy 2007 litter in which we sadly lost 6 of the 11 puppies (complications at birth). The 5 survivng puppies are all doing very well in their wonderful homes.
12-26-08 What a great couple of months. Ripley is now back home in New York. What a nice boy he is. Justus, Tina and I had a wonderful time in California. Justus was a perfect gentleman in the airport and on the air plane flying at our feet. Eukanubu was a blast, getting to see some long distance friends. Justus and Tina also got to walk the red carpet in Hollywood and visit some of Justus' favorite stars. Yesterday we all had a Merry Christmas and today Bailey, Beacon's brother is up to visit for the week. He too is a nice boy. We can't say enough good things about the people who have adopted our puppies.
11-20-08 Ripley has been visiting us here in Michigan the last three weeks so Tina can show him and "Ripley is on FIRE"! Ripley has participate in 4 shows and has won all 4. WoW! Stay tuned he may get to play again before he goes home to NY. Tangee has also moved to being just a couple of points from becoming a Champion. Not to be out done Truly also picked up a point last month. Only in our Wildest Dream.
10-31-08 We will be heading to the 2008 Eukanuba National Championship this December. Because of our decision to take Justus to California to compete we had to postpone puppies. We are now looking at the end of Winter / beginning of Spring for puppies. Stay in touch.
7-25-08 All the puppies have gone to their wonderful homes and are doing great. We are so very happy that this litter, like the last had such fantastic people wanting to adopt.
7-3-08 Puppies had their shots and Vet. check today. All went very well. We have some healthy and apparently "very clean puppies". A stool sample was checked and no parasites were found. All is looking good. See pictures in the Wellington X Gypsy section pictures 1 & 2. There are some great shots taken by some of the families adopting a puppy. There are still more to come.
6-20-08 Puppies continue to do great. They have ventured outside on a couple of field trips and loved it. We have been having almost daily visitors to see the puppies and the big dogs. They are eating food and spending less time with Gypsy who continues to be an excellent mother.
6-4-08 The puppies are doing great. Their eyes and ears are open (teeth are coming in). They are now walking, sitting, barking, playing and growling at one another (while playing). They bite at their Mom's nose and ears and try to sleep by her head or her feet. Gypsy has been a great Mom so attentive and careful. As the puppies are becoming less needy she is starting to spend less and less time in the box and we will be starting the puppies on some solid food (mush) very soon. I think that we have decided on our theme for our litter (still not 100%) but I think it is going to be our Cat Litter in honor of Muffin our cat who had kittens 5 days prior (and just before her sister was spade) on our garage floor. When Drew and I got home 4 of 5 were nearly frozen stiff as she tried to keep them warm. She and her 5 kittens were moved immediately into the house and have lived in our bathroom next door to Gypsy's whelping box. Muffin like Gypsy has been a great Mom and has taken care of 5 beautiful kittens with very little help (after the first few hours of helping her thaw them out).
5-18-08; Justus had a great weekend at the 2008 GSMD Nationals. He won Best of Breed. He has now been to 3 Nationals in 2005 He won a 5 point major at the National Cluster, (we missed the 2006 National in Colorado), in 2007 Justus received an Award of Merit, and 2008; he won, Best of Breed. Justus with Tangee and Wyatt placed third in the Stud Dog competition on Thursday.. Tangee and Ripley won their classes as well.
Puppies, Puppies, Puppies
5-13-08 Well I was partially correct 5-12-08 was the date the puppies were born (and they are beautiful). I learned never to work for a circus guessing, because I was way off on the number of puppies. We have 5 little ones. Having the C section saved at least 1 puppy's life as well as saved Gypsy from future health concerns. All are doing fantastic. Look for pictures after I get some sleep and Tina returns from the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Nationals.
4-17-08: If all goes well, we are looking for puppies on 5-12-08. I am guessing that she will have 11 Tina says less. Stay tuned. I hope to get a picture of the very pregnant girl soon. Wish us (Gypsy) luck.
4-6-08 We are now accepting a $300.00 puppy deposit for the May of 2008 Wellington X Gypsy litter. To answer the question; What is a puppy deposit? click on the link.
3-16-08 Gypsy was bred twice this weekend to Wellington.
3-14 to 3-16-08 Tangee and Tina did very well at the Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows. Tangee won all three days that she was entered. Taking Winners Bitch on 3-14 and 3-16 and crossing over to beat the boys as well on 3-15 to take Beat of Winners. Tangee now has 9 points in two weekends. Tangee - N- Tina like the song says T-N-T it's dynamite.
3-11-08, We are looking to do an artificial insemination this weekend. We are hoping for Wellington X Gypsy puppies in May. Wellington, AKA Ch. Quiet Valleys Time To Shine can be seen at this link: Wellington.
Wildest Dream Intangible gets her first show win 2 points at 8 months old. Great job Tina and Tangee. To quote a song "TNT that's dynamite". Click on link to see the Show Picture.
12-20-07, Justus becomes a father again. Congratulations to Reinherz Alegria (Gentry) and Cherished GSMD Kennel on their beautiful litter in Waynsville OH. Click on "puppies" link to see many pictures of the litter.
12-6-07, Justus has become a father again. Completing his 2007 tour of Canada (actually he never left our farm). Congratulation to Stella and the Swiss Peaks Kennel in London Canada on the birth of 12 puppies. 12 sweet, little, Swissy puppies.
11-13-07 Justus has become a father, again. He is now an "international stud". Gracie (Alberta Roots Amazing Grace) has given birth to puppies in Alberta Canada. Pictures to follow. Congratulations to Alberta Roots and Gracie. Justus seems to like those girls with names that start with G (Gabby, Gypsy and now Gracie).
11-13-07 Justus is now a READ (Reading Education Assistance Dog) dog. He and Tina are a READ Team. They are now volunteers in a local elementary classroom helping children to improve their reading skills, desire to read, along with so many other things. We will be starting a new READ section on the website, which will explain what is involved. Hopefully we will have some pictures of children reading to Justus. He sure loves their stories.
9-17-07: The puppies have all been placed in excellent homes. We have chosen to keep two girls at this time. One because of her beautiful structure and spit fire attitude and the second one for her size and temperament. She melts like butter in your arms. We also co-own a very special little guy, who will keep his adopted family busy for years to come. We are hopeful that our puppies adopted families will love them the way we have, and keep in touch regularly. With any luck at all pictures through out their lives will be posted on this website.
7-22-07 Where has the time gone. The puppies are 7 weeks old and running around like crazy. Tina has cut their little nails half a dozen time, they go outside and play, they have countless visitors and are becoming very well socialize. They will get their first shots this week.
6-17-07 The Puppies are 2 weeks old and have opened their eyes and started to walk and bark some.
6-3-07 We have puppies, 5 beautiful puppies 3 girls 2 boys right here at the Wildest Dream Farm in Michigan. (see pictures in Puppy section)
5-5-07, Justus is a father. Gabby out in California just gave birth to 6 puppies, 4 boys and 2 girls.
5-3-07, Holy Cow! Justus received an Award of Merit in the conformation ring at the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Nationals. He was Sandwiched between Bruno, a perennial favorite and top ten dog and Sully, who is ranked two or three.
5-3-07, At the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Nationals in St. Louis Justus participated in Rally for the very first time and got a qualifying score (in the rain).
5-2-07, Justus entered his first weight pulling competition at the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Nationals in St. Louis; he had three successful pulls before he decided he was done. The third pull was his best he put his head down and pulled 560 lbs. like it was nothing. When he went out to pull the next higher weight he didn't even try no matter how hard Tina tried to motivate him. Still not bad for a first try.
4-30-07, Ch. Polyanna's Sweet Gypsy Dream, Gypsy, had an Ultrasound and she is pregnant! Can hardly wait for little Swissy puppies.
4-15-07 Justus, with Tina as his handler, passed the Therapy Dog Test. They are now a Licensed Thereapy Dog Team here in Michigan.
